Summary
Are you an experienced Packer's looking for work in the Telford (TF7) area? We are seeking a diligent and detail-oriented Packer to join our client.
Our client has a fantastic new purpose built factory and are recruiting due to constant growth within the business.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing and packaging products for shipment, ensuring that all items are accurately packed and labelled according to company standards. This role is essential in maintaining the efficiency of production line and ensuring customer satisfaction through quality control.
Job duties:
• Carefully pack products into boxes or containers, ensuring they are secure for transport.
• Label packages accurately, including shipping information and product details.
• Conduct quality checks on products before packing to ensure they meet company standards.
• Assist in the organisation of the packing area, keeping it clean and tidy at all times.
• Collaborate with team members to meet daily packing targets and deadlines.
• Report any discrepancies or issues with products to the supervisor promptly.
• Follow health and safety guidelines to maintain a safe working environment
Experience:
• Previous experience in a fast paced packing role is preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately.
• Good organisational skills and the ability to work efficiently under pressure.
• A positive attitude and willingness to work as part of a team.
• Basic numeracy skills for accurate counting and labelling of products
Hours of work:
• Monday to Friday
• 14:00 till 22:30
Rate of pay:
• £12.25 per hour
