Summary

Job Information

-Reporting to the Engineering Manager, NI Schools.

-Liaising with the Technical Managers, Local Government and Education as required.

-Ensure service delivery always meets contractual and statutory obligations.

-Keep our service users, their visitors and our people, safe and well.

-Act as the NI Schools Technical Team Lead on the storage and onward availability of contractual and compliance documentation.

Main Duties

-Ensuring full compliance with relevant policies and procedures, codes of practice, statutory requirements and professional standards.

-Support as required, the Mitie FM Managers and Engineering Manager to ensure their teams (direct and specialist subcontract) are delivering the required contractual and compliance services obligations in order to meet and/ or better the required KPI.

-Ensuring asset data captured is up to date, recorded and applied against our contractual and compliance obligations.

-Upload asset information using Helpdesk Templates to build the PPM regime on the CAFM System.

-Representing Mitie on both internal and external contractual and compliance audits, with the support of the Mitie M&E Technical and Operations Teams.

-Work closely with the NI Schools Operations Teams to ensure Client and SPV relationships are maintained and that Mitie are performing to the required levels.

-Support the Mitie NI Schools Technical and Operations Teams in minimising any contractual penalties/ deductions by delivering the agreed contractual maintenance services.

-Support technical audits and assessments of engineering and maintenance activities, and HSE operations associated with Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM), Reactive Repairs and Lifecycle Replacement projects to identify deficiencies, operational problems and other areas for improvement in compliance with appropriate specifications, contract obligations and established Mitie standards and procedures.

-Review site technical documents to validate compliance with contract obligations and Mitie's Integrated Management System (IMS) and improve the quality of service delivery, its efficiency and productivity.

-Support the Accounts Director during Engineering Managers unavailability, managing their teams operational, maintenance and engineering activities, to ensure the necessary work (both planned and reactive) is identified, costed, planned and executed in a safe and timely manner.

-Support and contribute to the development of the forward maintenance regime and lifecycle planning, ensuring these are up to date and regularly reviewed.

-Demonstrate a consistent level of professionalism, effective timely communication and professional relationship management at all times.

-Develop and implement plans in which maintenance services to the client are improved to maximise value, minimise cost, risk and downtime, whilst delivering the desired consistent quality of service.

-If required, participate/ provide support as an Escalation Point for call-out queries, to ensure we maintain business continuity.



What we are looking for

-Ideally from a Maintenance background.

-Relevant qualification, experience or training.
