Summary
Recruit4Staff are pleased to be representing their client, a leading engineering company in their search for a Manual Machinist to work in their leading facility in Brownhills.
For the successful Manual Machinist, our client is offering:
• Competitive salary of £15 per hour plus 30% shift allowance which takes rate up to £19.50
• Nights - Monday to Thursday, 5:30pm - 3:30am, 38 hours per week.
• Temp to Perm role
• 26 days holiday + 8 statutory days
• Statutory pension scheme
• Free on site parking
The Role - Manual Machinist:
• Operation of manual horizontal boring machine
• Operation of conventional centre lathe
• Change and adjust manual tooling
• Visually inspect and quality check products
What our client is looking for in a Manual Machinist:
• Experience within manufacturing facility - ESSENTIAL
• Conventional machining experience - ESSENTIAL
• Apprentice trained - DESIRABLE
• Experience with traditional machine tools with DRO (Digital Readout) - DESIRABLE
• Overhead crane experience - DESIRABLE
