Summary
What skills and experience we're looking for
The successful candidate will:
• Plan and deliver tailored lessons in accordance with our curriculum.
• Develop engaging and diverse teaching materials to meet the needs of children with varying abilities.
• Monitor and assess children’s progress.
• Provide quality first teaching to enable success for all.
• Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages children’s participation and enthusiasm.
• Collaborate with other teachers and school staff to support children’s development and address any issues that arise.
• Maintain accurate records of children performance and write reports and reviews.
• Stay up-to-date with developments in education and integrate best practices into teaching strategies.
Essential
• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent, or evidence of substantial teaching experience. This job is not suitable for ECTs.
• Strong knowledge of the primary curriculum
• Strong communication skills, with the ability to engage, motivate and inspire children.
• Excellent organisational skills and the ability to plan and execute effective lessons.
• Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
• Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team, contributing to a positive school culture.
• Experience with Special Educational Needs (SEN) and adaptive teaching strategies.
Desirable
• Experience in lower key stage 2
• Strong understanding of current educational trends and pedagogical approaches.
