Bench Hand / Tool Maker
Permanent position
£30,784.00 to £34,632.00 per annum - (depending on experience)
Days - Monday to Thursday 7.30am to 4pm and Friday 7.30am to 12.30pm = 37 hour week
Our established client is looking to recruit a permanent Bench Hand / Tool Maker / Patternmaker to make patterns and moulds for the foundry moulders to make castings
Based in Willenhall
Engineering background required ideally in Automotive, Aerospace or Foundry
Duties required of a Bench Hand / Tool Maker
- Will be making moulds and patternmaking - from wood, metal and composite material
- Setting up and operating machines
- Used hand tools and computer controlled machinery
- Produce a finished pattern ready for the foundry moulders to make castings
Experience required for a Bench Hand / Tool Maker
- Previous experience of Patternmaking a distinct advantage
- Experience of using CAD packages and CNC
- Foundry mould making
- Bench hand or Tool making experience of making samples / moulds
- Engineering
- Read and interpret technical drawings
- Excellent eye for detail
