Summary
We are working alongside secondary schools in the North Yorkshire area who are looking to recruit Science Technicians.
We are looking for somebody with experience working in a laboratory, and could be the perfect opportunity for a recent Science graduate to gain some work experience. This opportunity would also be ideal for an experienced Science Teacher who is looking to take a step back in responsibility.
The role involves:
Maintaining equipment and supplies in the Science department.
Assisting the Teaching staff in the department with practical experiments in lessons.
Helping Science teachers to support students in their learning.
Ensuring that all students and staff adhere to health and safety regulations.
Requirements:
Previous experience in a similar role.
A degree in a Science related subject.
Two satisfactory references.
A valid DBS certificate, or be willing to obtain one.
