They work across a variety of sectors including Commercial, Education, Healthcare, Heritage & Leisure with projects valued anywhere between £5m - £15m.

The Role - Office Administrator

As a Office Administrator you will be working within the head office in Preston and will be responsible for assisting with a number of duties which include:

  • Ensure the office facilities and consumables are maintained in an organised manner
  • Support the site team in the preparation of correspondence and reports
  • Book and facilitate the organisation of meetings
  • Preparation and distribution of all relevant papers in advance.
  • Sort, maintain, copy and distribute correspondence as directed
  • Ensure relevant paperwork is filled appropriately and maintained in an organised manner
  • Have a high-level appreciation of the document management system and be able to scan, upload and retrieve documents

Required Skills/Experience?

  • Experience working in a construction environment would be highly desirable, although it is not essential to the role
  • Experience working in a similar role elsewhere
  • The ability to work on your own initiative, with minimal supervision, effectively managing your time and completing tasks in order of priority
  • Proficiency with a variety of IT software, including Microsoft Office
  • You will be an excellent communicator, both verbal and written, with excellent record-keeping skills and attention to detail
