Summary

Job Title: Housing & Commercial Lease Paralegal (9 months Fixed Term Contract)

Hours: 35 per week
Location: Remote
Salary: £25,000 to £28,000 depending on experience

Key Purpose of the Role:

To support the Housing and Development team in managing commercial lease agreements and property lease matters, providing expertise in reviewing and drafting leases and supporting negotiations. This role is key in ensuring compliance, protecting the company’s interests, and enabling smooth lease transactions.

Essential Criteria:

  • Demonstrable experience in reviewing commercial and property leases, ideally as a paralegal or in a similar role within the legal or property sector.
  • Technical Skills: Strong understanding of commercial property law and the legal requirements of lease agreements.
  • Analytical Skills: Excellent attention to detail with the ability to interpret complex lease documentation.
  • Communication Skills: Strong written and verbal communication skills to effectively liaise with both internal and external stakeholders.
  • Organisation: Strong organisational abilities to manage multiple lease cases and ensure adherence to deadlines.
  • Technology Proficiency: Proficient in legal software and Microsoft Office applications for document management and tracking.
