Summary
PTS Bricklayer Operative
Location: Basingstoke - carrying out works in a variety of locations.
Salary: £190 - £200 per day
Start Date: ASAP
Hours: 40 hours per week - Monday to Friday
Tru Talent is actively seeking skilled and certified PTS Bricklayers. Our client is proud to be able to provide their Rail, Construction and Labour services to some of the UK’s biggest companies and contractors.
If you have experience of working within the rail infrastructure particularly within arches, bridges, tunnels, culverts and retaining walls and have a PTS Certification, then we would like to hear from you.
Please note that applicants will need to hold a full UK driving licence and a PTS Certification.
Qualifications & Skills needed for PTS Bricklayer Operative:
• Construct and repair structures projects involving arches, bridges, tunnels, culverts and retaining walls and other structures.
• Interpret blueprints or work orders to determine specifications.
• Measure and cut materials to required sizes using power tools and hand tools.
• Ensure structures are level and aligned correctly.
• Apply mortar or other adhesives to bind materials together.
• Repair or replace damaged bricks or stones.
About you:
• MUST have a PTS Certificate
• PASMA Certificate is desirable
• Reliable and hardworking
• Able to work within a team and on your own.
• Completed duties are done to the highest standard.
• Good team player skills and able to communicate to the highest level.
• Uses own initiative on a daily basis.
