Summary
This Newark based company is looking for an experienced Design Manager to join their growing team. With a minimum of 5 years’ experience in graphic design and team leadership, you'll oversee both print and digital design projects while guiding a small team to deliver high-quality work on time.
Key Responsibilities:
• Lead design projects from concept to final delivery, working with the Art Director and General Manager.
• Manage and mentor a small team of designers, providing feedback and ensuring top-quality output.
• Collaborate with internal teams (NPD, Marketing, Sales) to understand design needs and deliver effective solutions.
• Coordinate with external partners like printers and production facilities.
• Ensure all projects meet deadlines and maintain high standards.
Skills & Experience:
• Extensive experience with Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop).
• Strong eye for design and detail, with the ability to manage multiple projects effectively.
• Experience managing a small design team and providing constructive feedback.
• Excellent communication skills, both within the team and with external partners.
