The Opportunity
Join this regional firm in a pivotal role as a Compliance Officer, contributing to a vibrant, fast-paced firm. Work within a focused team, assisting lawyers and support staff to uphold regulatory standards and exceptional client care.
Key Responsibilities
Deputy support for the Head of Compliance
Perform enhanced AML checks, including international client vetting
Assist with onboarding, conflict checks, and risk assessments
Ensure data protection compliance and manage regulatory registers
Administer and manage compliance systems (e.g., Riliance)
Prepare for audits (Lexcel, CQS, ISO 9001)
Monitor sanctions and adhere to SRA, AML regulations, and quality standards
Candidate Requirements
Proven experience in AML, data protection, or compliance
Strong organisational, IT, and communication skills
Detail-oriented with a proactive approach
Ability to mentor junior team members if required
