Summary
Working within the busy Receipt & Distribution department, our team are the single point for all deliveries made to the John Radcliffe hospital site. Along with ensuring that deliveries are being made to the correct location, the team are responsible for then delivering items to the teams across the clinical site and completing all associated paperwork. This is a physical role entailing manual handling and some operation of mechanical handling equipment.

The role is responsible for receiving, recording and distribution of all deliveries made to the Hospital site.
Good inter-personal, dexterity and numeracy skills are essential and computer literacy would be an advantage, although full training will be given. The role does involve an element of manual handling with the appropriate equipment provided as needed.
The successful candidate needs to be able to work using their own initiative and as part of a team.
