Summary
EQUANS are recruiting for a Ward Host / Catering Assistant to be based at the Royal Infirmary of Edinburgh, EH16 4SA. This is a permanent part-time role working 8 hours per week. On offer is a Competitive salary and benefits package.
Shift Pattern: Saturday & Sunday 2:30pm - 6:30pm
What will you deliver?
- To provide a safe, hygienic, nutritious, and timely food service for patients.
- Assisting in the delivery of a high standard of food service which meets the requirements of food hygiene legislation
- Ward host/hostess would be expected to do basic food prep if required to go down to the main kitchen (pick/pack area)
- Maintaining high standards of personal and general food hygiene as well as high standards of cleanliness in all work areas
- Ward hosts would be expected to do basic food prep when in pick and pack along with minimal cleaning duties
- Ensure that a high standard of personal grooming is maintained including wearing the required uniform and PPE provided.

This role includes a DS Basic check therefore ability to pass is essential
