Summary
SEMH TA:
Prospero Teaching are looking for a SEMH Teaching Assistant to deliver person centred support to pupils who present high levels of challenging behaviours associated with SEMH issues at a school near Preston.
The candidate must have experience working with children who display challenging behaviours, preferably with de-escalation training. The successful candidate will be keen to make a difference, being empathetic and understanding. You must be confident working on a 1-1 basis.
Contract Details:
- Role: SEMH TA
- Location: Preston
- Hours: 8:45am-3:45pm (during term time)
- Minimum rate of pay: £100 per day (dependant on experience)
- Type of work: Temporary
- Full time/part time: Full time only
- Start date: ASAP
- Duration: Ongoing
Experience, Training and Qualifications:
- Up to date Safeguarding training in the last year (desirable but training can be provided)
- Previous experience with Team Teach training
- Previous experience working as a Teaching Assistant is essential
TO BE ELIGIBLE FOR THIS ROLE THROUGH PROSPERO TEACHING, YOU MUST:
- Hold Right to Work in the UK
- Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application
- Provide two professional references
