Summary
Responsibilities
1. Design, development, and implementation of software applications, ensuring scalability, performance, and maintainability.
2. Collaborate with product managers, designers, and stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
3. Drive technical discussions and contribute to architectural decisions to ensure the development of robust and scalable software systems.
4. Mentor and guide junior engineers, promoting best practices, code quality, and professional growth.
5. Conduct performance analysis and optimization of software applications.
6. Collaborate with QA engineers to develop and execute test plans, ensuring the delivery of high-quality software.
7. Stay up to date with emerging technologies, industry trends, and best practices, and apply them to improve software development processes.
8. Participate in agile development methodologies, such as Scrum or Kanban, and contribute to sprint planning, estimation, and retrospectives.
Qualifications required;
1. University degree in Computer and Software Engineering or equivalent
2. Minimum 4 Years working experience in similar role.
3. Prior knowledge and experience in software technology in money services sector
4. Knowledge in software development andmanagement of money transfer app will be an advantage
5. Great organisation, multitasking and problem-solving skills.
