About Us
OCC was fortunate to be successful with bidding for DFE monies to develop and grow our in-house children’s home provisions to enable more Oxfordshire children to remain in Oxfordshire when they become Children We Care For. As a result, we are excited to be opening 4 new children’s homes before Summer 2025.Our children’s homes sit within The Residential and Edge of Care Service which works with the most vulnerable children and families, including those on the edge of care, within the Children We Care For system and those preparing for independence.
The strategic aim of the services is to deliver integrated and individualised interventions to promote best outcomes for children and their families. We’ve got anambitious road ahead, and we need the right talent to help us.
About the Role
The available roles are based in our children’s home across the county.
These jobs are crucial in supporting teams to work effectively to deliver outstanding services to the children we care for in the homes, their families and wider partnerships.
You will be supporting colleagues in the children’s homes, social workers, and partner agencies and assisting with the day to day running of the Children’s Homes.
Some of the work that you will be undertaking will be:
- Answering calls and queries,
- booking appointments,
- minuting meetings,
- uploading information in our database,
- creating financial transactions
- tracking health and safety requirements
- supporting the Management Team to meet our Children’s Homes regulations.
We have a dedicated training and induction plan where we will develop your knowledge, skills and expertise in all administrative areas.
These are permanent Team Support Officer and are available across the County. All posts are based directly in the children’s homes.
- 1 part time post available (18.5 hours per week) in Chinnor (near Thame)
- 1 part time post available (18.5 hours per week) in Sutton (near Witney)
- Both posts have a starting salary of £28,163 pro rata
