Summary
An exciting opportunity to be part of a new working team on Ward C2 which will be a 24 bedded General Internal Medicine Ward at Royal Blackburn Teaching Hospital.
You will demonstrate a passion for improving the patient and relative experience. You will be expected to undertake any mandatory training to enhance pre-existing knowledge and ensure research based practice. In addition to this, you will possess well developed communication skills that will be used to engage, inspire and motivate both staff and patients in this exciting and challenging clinical area. Good time management skills are essential, as is the ability to prioritise your workload and in return we will enable you to develop your clinical and leadership skills with the support from the Senior Nursing team within the Medical and Emergency Care Division

The post holder will be responsible for the assessment of care needs and the development implementation and evaluation of programmes of care without direct supervision. You will work within a team and assist in the monitoring of performance, providing education and support to junior members of the team in order to meet the Trust’s Quality Agenda.
We are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated individual who will is able to work as part of a multidisciplinary ward team.

Registered Nurse
• Current NMC registration.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Effective record keeping.

• Basic IT skills.
• Able to work as part of Multi Disciplinary Team (MDT).
• Motivation and enthusiasm.
