Seasonal Warehouse Cream Packing Operatives wanted!
We are looking for Seasonal Warehouse Packing Operatives to join our Cream Department at Droitwich Dairy within our Müller Milk & Ingredients business for the Christmas Peak.
Seasonal Contract: 1 month cnotract starting from 2nd December 2024
- 31st December 2024.39.66 hours per week
- plus extra hours guaranteedShift Pattern: 3 Rotational Shift Patterns; Days and Nights – Including weekend work (6am – 3pm / 3pm – Midnight). 10th December – 20th December (5am – 4pm / 3.45pm – 3am)
Salary: £29,689.86 / £14.40 per hour

Please note – you must be able to get to and from site via own transport for shift times shown above – the only direct bus is from Worcester town centre.

The purpose of the Warehouse Packing Operative is to support and strive to manually packing dairy products delivering the required product output through the seasonal period. You will need to have a strong team working ethic, be results driven and proactive.

Responsibilities of Seasonal Warehouse Packing Operative will include but not be limited to the following:

- Manually pack products into boxes, ensuring the products are fit for purpose.
- Consistent quality control inspection and awareness, assuring customer expectations and product standards are maintained.
- Maintain hygiene and environmental standards.
- Operate equipment and processes effectively, delivering the required output relative to the role.
- Replenish materials as required.
- Deliver and support the training of colleagues on job related tasks.
- Effectively communicate to individuals within and outside of department.
- Undertake any other duties; in keeping with the nature of the role as requested.
- Duties may include but not limited to packing or movement of product, maintaining site operational standards and basic operating of equipment.


Demonstrable skills, experience and knowledge within the following:

- Previous experience with food products and materials is advantageous.
- Positive thinking, motivated, works well on own initiative and shows good timekeeping.
- To be an active part of small teams with operational excellence objectives.
- To have opportunities to deliver own ideas to improve our business.
- A good level of numeracy and literacy skills.
- Understands the impact of own actions and others on achieving site/business objectives.
- Health and safety of self and others.
