Summary
Clinical responsibilities: The post-holder will undertake the normal duties and responsibilities associated with a GP working within primary care. In accordance with the practice timetable, as agreed, the post-holder will provide services using face to face, telephone and video consultations Managing administrative tasks, dealing with queries, paperwork and correspondence in a timely fashion. Visiting patients at home when clinically indicated. Recording clear and contemporaneous consultation notes to agreed standards. Collecting data for audit purposes when requested. Prescribing in accordance with the practice prescribing formulary (or generically) whenever this is clinically appropriate. Supervising GP trainees and non-medical clinical staff when needed.
