Summary
Purpose of the role

As the Recruitment Manager at ZSL, you’ll lead our recruitment team, playing a key role in shaping the future of our organisation by attracting exceptional talent. In this role, you’ll design and execute strategic hiring initiatives that meet ZSL’s long-term goals, champion our commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion, and enhance our talent brand. Key responsibilities:
- Use data-driven insights to evaluate and enhance recruitment practices, embedding EDI-focused interventions that ensure equitable hiring processes and inclusive outcomes across all candidate touchpoints.
- Provide day-to-day support to recruiting managers on timelines, role scoping, and recruitment administration when necessary to ensure alignment with strategic goals and a positive candidate experience.
- Manage the recruitment system, ensuring its effective use across all hiring processes and driving continuous improvements for a seamless candidate and hiring manager experience
About You
We’re looking for a strategic Recruitment expert with a proven track record in creating equitable hiring practices, supporting diverse talent pipelines, and empowering hiring managers with best practices to deliver a positive, inclusive candidate experience. You may have a blend of the following:
- Proven track record in embedding EDI-focused recruitment practices to drive equitable hiring outcomes and support diverse talent pools.
- Ability to advise and support hiring managers on best practices in recruitment, ensuring a positive and consistent candidate experience.
- Proficiency in analysing recruitment metrics and data to inform decisions, identify efficiencies, and track recruitment performance.
- Skills in training, coaching and developing hiring managers in recruitment best practices and compliance with UK Employment Law.
This is a hybrid role, with an expectation to be in our office two days per week. First stage interviews will take place week commencing 25th November.
