Summary

Job Description

Working in a hybrid style, based at home and City Centre office, you will work full time, 37 hours per week within the Adolescent Service.

Requirements

You will have 60 relevant credit points towards first year of social work degree (one of HNC in social care or social sciences, K100, K101 or DD100).

Responsibilities

You will provide supervisory and support services and carry a caseload of appropriate cases. You will work alongside and under the direction of a senior or qualified worker to carry out specific tasks.

The Individual

You will have experience of assessment and care planning in a health/social care setting and be able to identify risk and respond appropriately. You will be able to work on own initiative, manage your own caseload and meet deadlines. You will have experience of working with risk and the ability to identify risk and respond appropriately.

You must be able to work on occasions after office hours 8am and 8pm and participate in duty cover for team/service. A full current driving licence is also essential.

These posts are considered Regulated Work with Children and/or Protected Adults, under the Protection of Vulnerable Groups (Scotland) Act 2007. The preferred candidates will be required to join the PVG Scheme or undergo a PVG Scheme update check prior to a formal offer of employment being made by Dundee City Council.
