Location: Harlow
Salary: £12.50 - £14.00 per hour (DOE)
We're recruiting a Team Leader for a center specialising in independent parenting assessments, supporting families to thrive. Established in 2017, this reputable center provides 12-week residential assessments, overseen by qualified social workers and dedicated family support staff. As Team Leader, you'll manage and support a team to deliver outstanding, person-centered care and guidance, ensuring family wellbeing and safety.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead team shifts, oversee family activities, and provide wellbeing support.
- Ensure family assessments and documentation (placement plans, reports, chronologies) are accurately maintained.
- Liaise with social workers, attend meetings, and supervise night staff.
- Conduct medication audits, health & safety checks, and incident reporting.
- Partake in on-call rota and maintain OFSTED notifications as required.
Requirements
- Resilient, motivated, and adaptable with strong communication skills.
- Demonstrated experience in family support, social care, or similar fields.
- Able to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong organizational, leadership, and communication skills.
- IT literate, with the ability to maintain accurate records.
- Flexible and willing to work shifts.
- Full UK driving license and business insurance for your vehicle (required).
- Experience: 1 year of Team Leader work (required).
- Qualification: Level 3 Diploma in Health and Social Care.
- DBS certification (preferred).
- Ability to handle sensitive situations and support both staff and residents.
