Summary
Position: Inclusion Mentor

Pay rate: £13.06 / hour (minimum - based on experience)
Prospero Teaching is working with an outstanding specialist school in Lichfield, currently seeking dedicated SEN Teaching Assistants to join their team full-time, Monday to Friday (8:30 am - 3:30 pm). This unique setting supports students aged 7-18 with Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) needs and related conditions. Each student follows an individualized learning plan supported by therapeutic activities provided by a dedicated team of psychologists and occupational therapists.
We are seeking compassionate Inclusion Mentors who are passionate about empowering young people. With small class sizes of up to 8 students, the school offers a supportive staff-to-student ratio. The curriculum is enriched with a range of facilities, including a gym, food tech suite, music department, and mechanics lab, designed to foster personal growth and skill-building in an inclusive, nurturing environment.
Your Impact:
- Foster an inclusive, supportive environment for all students.
- Mentor students one-on-one, helping to build their confidence and independence.
- Collaborate with teachers to develop and implement inclusive practices that address diverse learning needs.
About You:
- Experience working with SEN/SEMH students or in inclusive education.
- Strong interpersonal skills, with a passion for making a positive impact.
- Enhanced DBS check or willingness to obtain one.
