Objective of role

We are looking to recruit a CCTV Operator for a vacancy in our Inspection and Enforcement Team.

You will be working under the Shared Staffing Arrangement between Wandsworth and Richmond councils you must be willing to work over both boroughs if required but this post is mainly based in Wandsworth.

About the role

The successful candidate will be responsible for the deployment of Waste CCTV cameras across both Wandsworth and Richmond, operatingand monitoring all surveillance cameras within the Inspection and Enforcement team in an efficient manner and in compliance with the operating procedures, Waste and CCTV legislation, and best practice.

Essential Qualifications, Skills and Experience

You must have a working knowledge of the Environment Protection Act, 1990.

You will have confidence in using computer systems including Microsoft office.

You should have the ability to deal sensitively with residents.

You’ll need demonstrable previous administration experience and communication skills, both oral and written, with an ability tomanage your own workload
