Location: Marischal College

Duration: Permanent, 1 x full time (37 hours per week) 1 x part time (26 hours per week)


** There will be an additional competency based exercise to complete on the day of the interview, details of which will be shared if your application is progressed to the next stage.

Job Purpose:

The purpose of this role is to support and contribute to the delivery of our BAC Strategy and related People & Performance Strategy. This will be achieved through the provision of an appropriate and professional HR advice and guidance service, and through contribution to all workstreams associated in delivering those strategic outcomes.

The role will work across all services within Bon Accord Care and alongside other People & Performance functions e.g. Admin, Comms, Wellbeing to deliver these strategic outcomes in line with the demands and priorities of the organisation.

Requirements

The post holder needs to hold as a minimum:

Associate Membership of the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development (CIPD)

Evidence of continuous professional development

Responsibilities

The post holder is expected to demonstrate:

Fairness and Consistency – provision of professional advice and guidance to managers
and employees across the organisation, supporting fair and consistent application of
people practice policies

Ability to manage multiple workstreams - contribution to projects and initiatives within
specified project areas

Knowledge of up-to-date Employment Legislation and Practice - contribution to the
review and development of people practice policies and procedures in accordance with
employment legislation and organisational objectives

Future Planning & Organisational Development - contribution to the development of a
workforce plan which supports the delivery of safe and effective services in line with our
SLAs, and the delivery of expected performance levels. Contributing to the development
and roll out of a suitable workforce planning tool

Fair Recruitment Practice - contribution to the development and implementation of a
recruitment strategy for the organisation

Analytical Skills - collating and analysing data and information to create reports which
help us to understand and better meet the needs of our workforce
