Summary

Job Summary

We are seeking a motivated and experienced Corrugated Packaging Sales Representative to manage and grow major accounts while identifying and securing new business opportunities.
The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of the corrugated packaging industry,
excellent communication and negotiation skills, and a proven ability to develop long-lasting customer relationships. This position is ideal for a self-starter who thrives in a dynamic and competitive environment.

Key Responsibilities

1. Account Management

- Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned major accounts.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders within customer organisations.
- Understand the unique needs of each major account and provide tailored packaging
solutions.
- Ensure customer satisfaction by coordinating with internal teams (production, design,logistics) to meet service and delivery expectations.
- Monitor account performance, address any issues, and implement strategies to enhance retention and growth.

2. New Business Development

- Identify and target potential new clients within assigned territories or industries.
- Develop and implement strategies to approach and secure new business opportunities.
- Generate leads through research, networking, and cold-calling.
- Prepare and deliver persuasive sales presentations and proposals that highlight the value of corrugated packaging solutions.
- Negotiate contracts and close new business deals to achieve sales targets.

3. Market Research and Strategy

- Stay updated on industry trends, market conditions, and competitor activities.
- Use market insights to identify growth opportunities and adapt sales strategies.
- Collaborate with the marketing and product development teams to align sales efforts with new product offerings and promotional campaigns.

4. Sales Planning and Reporting

- Develop and execute sales plans to achieve revenue targets for both existing and new business.
- Track sales activities, update customer information, and generate reports using CRM systems.
- Provide accurate forecasts and updates on sales pipeline and opportunities.

5. Customer Education and Support:

- Educate customers on the benefits, features, and applications of corrugated packaging solutions.
- Work closely with design and production teams to provide technical support and address customer concerns.
- Attend trade shows, conferences, and other industry events to promote products and build networks.

Qualifications

- Proven sales experience, preferably in the packaging or corrugated industry.
- Strong understanding of corrugated packaging materials, design, and production processes.
- Ability to manage multiple accounts and projects while pursuing new business leads.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
- Self-motivated with a strong drive to meet and exceed sales goals.
- Proficient in CRM software and MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel as needed.

Preferred Skills:

- Previous experience managing major accounts and developing new business.
- Knowledge of sustainable packaging solutions.
- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.

Work Environment:

- This position may require travel to client locations, company manufacturing facilities, and industry events.
- Primarily office-based, with a mix of remote work and in-person meetings.
