Summary
About The Role
Our Digital Learning Specialist will partner with the wider HR team and the business to leverage existing and future technology in order to enable great learning and development. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing our existing Learning Management System, and for creating, managing and driving processes that promote learning and equip leaders with people data.
This individual will understand development, and will consult with business leaders to understand their strategic needs and how learning technology can unlock performance.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide strategic input and new ideas to ensure that Vp’s digital learning provision meets the needs of the modern workforce
- Identify, develop and maintain eLearning and digital learning solutions which are engaging and easy to understand
- Provide technical resources and training for all Academy users and learners
- Facilitate demonstrations of the system and provide training to individuals and users groups
- Source, create and build learning curriculum for courses and programs across the business
- Works in partnership with stakeholders to align & maximise how digital learning can enhance Induction, Career Paths and group requirements
- Facilitate and participate in the Digital Design Group to enable development and delivery of courses that are learner-centred and user-friendly
- Provide coaching and support to designers to ensure consistent instructional design principles and adult learning theory is used in developing learning content
- Own the account management, be the single point of contact for the interactions with Litmos (LMS supplier)
- Lead the development, deployment, and maintenance of the Academy system (LMS)
- Support the wider administration of the Academy through engagement with designated local administrators, facilitating working groups and 1-2-1 coaching and advice.
- Develop supporting workflows to ensure that all learning resources and administration processes are properly set up and available to ensure optimal performance of the Academy
- Work closely with the L&D, HRBPs and business stakeholders to ensure administration requirements are understood, communicated and optimised
- Ensure reporting requirements are appropriately enabled to facilitate both Management actions and compliance reporting
What We’re Looking For
- Experience with learning management systems (LMS) and proficient in multimedia tools and software
- Strong understanding of learning design principles, passionate about supporting the development of others
- Excellent project management skills, with strong communication and collaboration abilities
- Knowledge of eLearning trends, best practices, along with the ability to create engaging, interactive content
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team and to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Experience in conducting learning needs assessments, with strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Familiarity with accessibility standards in eLearning and the ability to provide technical support and training
- Strong influencing skills, excellent communication and presentation skills.
- The ability to work collaboratively across departments and levels of the organization.
- The ability to work at pace and always think about what is best for the business.
- E-Learning / L&D certificate or diploma or equivalent (Desirable)
- A committed life-long learner with proven experience in a similar role (Desirable)
