Summary


As a key member of the business intelligence analytics team this role will support the development and maintenance of reporting solutions delivered to trust staff. This will involve utilising all available technologies including Microsoft PowerBI, Data models, SQL Server and all Microsoft office products to develop fit for purpose reporting solutions. The role will support staff to access a wide range of reports and dashboards via the WUTH Business Intelligence (BI) Portal.

Working closely with the BI business partners for a division this role will gather reporting requirements, design and develop reporting solutions and attend meeting to support divisional requirements.

The role will also be responsible, as part of an analyst group, for the timely completion of mandatory and statutory data submissions to external organisations e.g. ICB and NHS England

· To support the design, development and maintenance of web-based reporting solutions, proactively support the provision of analytics and Business Intelligence across the trust

· To proactively share knowledge with colleagues and support the delivery of training on a regular basis to end users within WUTH to improve overall skill levels in the retrieval of data/analytics

· To identify any data quality issues that might arise between Cerner Millennium, the trusts data warehouse(s) and the Business Intelligence reporting solutions

· To develop efficient automated processes to ensure the reporting solutions are updated in accordance with agreed timescales to support national returns and local reporting requirements

· Working with the BI Business Partners to ensure robust monitoring of reporting solutions are in place to highlight any issues including data quality and completeness

· To assist in the management, production and timely delivery of a diverse range of ad-hoc information requests

· Ensure that all reporting processes are fully documented and reviewed on a regular basis and proactively identify where processes can be changed to improve service delivery
