Summary
The Best Connection Group Limited are currently recruiting for several Warehouse Operatives / Order Pickers, on behalf of one of our well-known Clients in the Crewe area. Our client specialises in the distribution of ambient goods to large retailers throughout the UK.
This is a temporary role with starts from 5th December onwards. This position is eligible for a £250 Christmas bonus for attending all scheduled shifts.
Job details: Case picking / order picking chilled goods ready for loading. Pallet pulling- Filling empty pallets with picked orders. No heavy lifting, but manual handling will be required due to repetitive nature of work. Working in a cold environment, in temperatures of around 4 degrees Working 4 or 5 days per week, 10-12 hour shifts Daily duties will include: Order picking in large volumes / case picking. General warehousing Organising pallets with picked orders / pallet pulling Working in a fast-paced environment Ensuring warehouse is kept clean and tidy at all times. Following health and safety procedures The ideal candidate must: Be able to read and fill out relevant paperwork efficiently. Be able to use handheld scanners. Be able to work independently. Work efficiently to meet deadlines. Be able to communicate effectively. Due to the nature of work all candidates must have a suitable level of english, in order to pick stock correctly.
Any experience case picking is desirable but not essential as full training is provided.
Working hours for this position are 10-12 hour shifts, depending on daily orders. Working from 8am until finish. Guaranteed minimum 10 hours pay per day. You will be working any 4 or 5 days over 7, so weekend availability is required.
The hourly rate for this role is £12.50 per hour, plus £250 bonus for attending all scheduled shifts.
