Hours: 36.25 per week - term time only plus 5 days
The Marvell College seek to appoint a Library and Literacy Intervention Assistant.
Working as part of a supportive team, the successful candidate will be passionate about developing students’ reading skills and will be committed to raising the profile of reading across the school. As part of the role, the Library and Literacy Intervention Assistant will: Develop the library as an effective resource
Manage the library systems and students’ use of the resource
Promote pupil conduct in the library in accordance with appropriate school policies
Control stock and be the key point of reference for the SLS
Promote the library resource to staff and pupils through enrichment opportunities
Work with small groups of students to develop and promote reading skills cards.
