What will my role be as a Cycle Recycle Mechanic?

The purpose of the job is to provide a professional, efficient and high quality service to customers of Your Trust. This includes
working with the Active Travel Team to deliver servicing, maintenance and repair support for cycles used during the Active Travel
sessions along with attending events and being responsible for cycle library hires and sales. This also includes checking and
fitting cycles for individual use, logging and maintaining records of all work completed and delivering maintenance demonstration
sessions and classes.




What do I need to have?

* Qualified to a suitable level in cycle mechanic skills such a Cytech or City and Guilds or qualified by experience
* Experience of planning, developing and delivering cycle maintenance sessions / activities
* Experience of refurbishing cycles and maintaining a fleet
* Up-to-date knowledge about cycle mechanic methods and techniques
* Ability to fit individuals for a cycle and provide the advice needed for them to ride away
* Excellent communication; both oral and written and excellent interpersonal skills
* Excellent time management skills
