Summary

Head of HR Operations - Further Education - Middlesex - c£52,000

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Head of HR Operations to join a leading Further Education College.


Reporting into the Chief People Officer you will be responsible for leading and managing the delivery of HR operational services. Your key accountabilities will include:-

  • Overseeing and supporting the effective running of the People Operations Team, ensuring HR best practice is being employed
  • Taking ownership of the continuous improvement of HR processes, policies, and procedures
  • Managing complex employee relations cases where appropriate and operating strategically to protect the College against risk
  • Providing leadership and guidance to the Employee Relations function on all Employee Relations cases
  • Working closely with the People Partner to design and deliver key people management training
  • Conducting performance appraisals and facilitate professional development within the recruitment team

You should be a senior HR professional with a track record of managing an HR operations teams ideally in the Education sector. A strong knowledge of employment law and experience of managing Tupe processes is essential. Experience of managing and motivating a team and supporting HR transformation needs to be combined with excellent stakeholder management skills

You need to be MCIPD qualified.
