Crynodeb
As part of the pharmacy service, to ensure the safe and effective use of medicines throughout the Trust. Supporting the Chief Pharmacist in ensuring that effective medicines systems operate throughout the Trust. To be the pharmacy lead responsible for research and development of clinical trials. Reviewing the feasibility of proposed clinical trials considering the pharmacy aspect. Oversight of expenditure and reimbursement for the pharmacy team for clinical trials (Research and Development (R&D)). As a clinical pharmacist within the trials team, the post-holder will ensure that all pharmaceutical aspects of clinical trials validation including digital systems are built in accordance with good clinical practice (GCP); good manufacturing practice (GMP); statutory national and international standards; and clinical need. Support the coordination of local response in a timely manner, working closely with the: clinical and research teams; Pharmacy; Sponsors; and R&D department.
