Hours per week: 4 hours term time (Ideally 4pm-6pm any day Monday/Tuesday/Wednesday/Thursday/Friday) 6 hours in holidays (Any day/flexible)

Hourly pay rate: £12.00 & 45p mileage

Do you have some spare time in the afternoons or during the school holidays? We are looking for a PA to support our 5 year old son so that he can get out and enjoy some fun activities. He adores the water and loves swimming, soft play and role play/dressing up. He would enjoy being taken out for the day to places like the Sea Life Centre or possibly the Zoo. My son has a ‘love for life’ and finds happiness and excitement in everyday activities. He absolutely loves a cuddle and is very affectionate child. Due to him being Autistic and non verbal he can become frustrated when something isn’t going the way he wants it to or he doesn’t want to do something. He has a pushchair that he feels comfortable in and we use reins when walking about. Duties include:

Eating and drinking assistance
Moving and handling
Transportation
Dressing / undressing
Bathroom assistance
Candidate qualities:

Respectful of the employer's privacy and confidentiality

Able to both follow instructions and work on own initiative Hygienic, tidy and well organised
Fit and healthy to undertake the required duties
Patient and possess excellent interpersonal skills
Honest and cheerful
Creative
Able to speak and read English to a reasonable standard
Must be comfortable with pets
Able to always work to high standards of health & safety
