Summary
We are currently recruiting experienced Health Care Assistants and Health Support Workers to work various shifts within Domiciliary Home Care in Rushden (Northamptonshire).
Job Duties/Requirements:
Helping Service Users meet both their health and social care needs.
This includes assisting with personal hygiene, assistance with laundry and preparing meals and drinks.
Assist in enabling the client group to maintain and develop daily living skills such as
Assisting the service user group with activities such as arts, crafts & sports and encourage them to participate in out and indoors activities
Encourage resident to participate in indoor and outdoor activates and to achieve independence in all areas of their life
Good understand of principles of care:- Involving residents to identify and choose their support needs, respecting their wishes, dignity and respect to their individuality, values and cultural needs
Good knowledge of safeguarding principles
Understand equal opportunities and supports the equality and diversity of the individual. Ability to communicate effectively at all level both oral and written
Willingness to participate in relevant development training programmes
Documents actions by completing forms, reports, logs, and records. Maintains work operations by following policies and procedures.
Protects organisation's value by keeping patient information confidential and pro-active and forward thinking
