Summary
Recruiting for Personal Assistants (PA’s) to join small team of private carers working within young person’s family home. (Dibden Purlieu area)
An opportunity to make a positive impact in a young adult’s life; you will be working with a young man who requires support in aspects of daily living due to physical disability.
Duties to include :
Personal Care / meal preparation / hoisting / household tasks / driving adapted van / support to socialise & visit friends and attend sports training/matches.
An empathic and supportive nature is important, along with a good sense of humour!
Training will be provided.
Hours will typically be required at weekends between Friday & Sunday.
Plus additional hours available during college holiday times.
This will initially be a Bank contract with hours to be worked flexibly as agreed with employer. We would also consider self - employed carers interested in the role.
This role may suit university student or those wishing to gain experience in health/social care sector.
Hourly pay between £12.50 - £16.00.
This post will require DBS checks & clean driving licence.
