Summary
Supply Chain Expeditor
The COMPANY
Our client is a well established Global manufacturer of power generation/turbines/combustion to a myriad of industries including Marine, Petrochemical, Waste to Energy, Hospitals, Education, Offshore Oil & Gas, Power Generation, etc. Their market leading comprehensive product range means that they have gained an enviable global reputation synonymous with excellence in the +100 countries that utilise their products/services. The ROLE
The Supply Chain Expeditor will be responsible for supporting Purchasing and Supply Chain requirements, including;
* Maintaining good relationships with suppliers
* Daily liaising with the supply chain
* Working with suppliers to achieve On Time In Full (OTIF) delivery
* Conduct regular performance meetings with suppliers
* Identify solutions for challenges
The CANDIDATE
The successful Supply Chain Expeditor will be a professional who enjoys working in a busy fast paced role - allied to the desire, ability and confidence to forge a career within a market leading organisation. The right candidate will have;
* Skilled in negotiation and maintaining strong supplier relationships.
* Experience in a buying/purchasing/supply chain environment
* Used to dealing with overseas suppliers
* Team player
* A background in Engineering or Manufacturing would be useful
Salary - Dependent on experience
