About the role and team:

This is a brand-new opportunity for an experienced Business Development Manager to join our fantastic B2B team.

You’ll have the freedom to really make the role your own and grow your own area and future pipeline. There is no restriction on geographical areas to target so the options are unlimited!

Although this is a nationwide role, it will also require occasional working from our Birmingham offices.

The Business Development Manager will be responsible for promoting and expanding our products by identifying new business opportunities, building and maintaining strong relationships with clients and developing marketing strategies.

The role will involve:


Identifying and growing opportunities within the Major account retail base
Proactively identifying new tender opportunities and oversee the tender process from start to finish
Researching, prospecting, winning new customers
Working to targets and building a healthy pipeline
Understanding and providing updates on competitor activity & propositions
Planning your own work diary
Defining and managing a solid pipeline of prospects to maximise the return
Supporting the B2B sales team overall to ensure all sales and margin targets are hit
Prospecting, presenting and closing the deal to secure new contracts


To be successful for this role you will:


Have previous B2B product sales experience
Strong customer orientation and relationship building skills
Self-motivated to work independently and part of a team in a fast paced, changing environment
