Summary

Learning and Development Partner (Children’s Residential)

Remote Home-Based with Travel, ideally to cover area’s in the West Midlands (Tamworth and also Shropshire) with the need to travel to some other area’s occasionally to meet business need. Occasional overnight stay might be required.

Salary: £38,000 - £40,000

Overview:

With your experience experience working in residential children's services. Your expertise will be crucial in delivering training that empowers staff to provide exceptional care. This role is not just about teaching; it's about sharing your first-hand knowledge and experiences to truly prepare our teams for the challenges and rewards of working with children in care.

Key Responsibilities:

Deliver comprehensive training on key topics, including safeguarding, emergency first aid, and internal processes and procedures, drawing on your experience in the field to ensure practical, impactful learning.
You will design, organize, and evaluate training sessions that meet both regulatory standards and the specific needs of staff.
Act as a subject matter expert, providing guidance and support to staff across our children's residential services.
Stay current with legislation and best practices, ensuring our training materials are up-to-date and relevant.

Required:

• Prior experience within the children's care sector
• Driving license and transport
• Strong knowledge of sector processes and procedures
