Your Role
In this role, you will be based within a college environment led by Specialist Tutors and Learning Support Workers. This setting is ideal for students who have completed school at 16 and need access to specialist further education. The college provides support with learning or communication difficulties, additional therapy, and behaviour management, facilitated by a dedicated multi-disciplinary team.

Duties
• Oversee occupancy and ensure compatibility for new referrals.
• Create individualized care plans for new referrals and communicate with the staff team.
• Act as the primary point of contact for students and their families.
• Oversee student transitions and ensure effective planning.
• Always maintain inspection readiness.
• Serve as the Designated Safeguarding Officer.
• Ensure compliance with all required staff training.
• Conduct appraisals and supervisions.
• Keep Risk Assessments and Care Plans up to date.
• Manage student budgets and conduct regular audits.
• Deliver person-centered support for all students.


Criteria
• Proven experience in Referrals & Assessments.
• Background in SEN Education (preferred).
• Experience in producing Care/Support Plans and conducting Risk Assessments.
• Supervisory or Team Leading experience is essential.
