Up to £15.00 per hour DOE

Monday to Thursday 07.30am to 16.30 & Fridays 07.30 to 12.20pm

Standard hours 37.50 per week

Our client is seeking a Sheet Metal Worker to join them on a temporary on-going basis. You will be a member of the team responsible for operating machinery like press brake, guillotines or standing drill. You must be a self-starter, team player and have a passion to get the job done right. The client will consider entry level or experienced candidate and hourly rates will be discussed at interview. Just some of the tasks but not limited too:

• Read technical drawings
• Use all ancillary equipment such as drills, guillotines, press brake etc.
• Cleaning and Deburring
• Detect and report defective materials
• Meet productivity expectations for products run, demonstrating excellent hand/eye coordination
• May perform a variety of other tasks as production needs require

CV must show:

• Previous experience within an engineering environment or educational courses
• Sheet metal experience would be an advantage but not essential
• Excellent attendance and timekeeping essential
• Excellent communication and organisational skills
• Attention to detail and excellent eyesight
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Candidates must hold:

• Passport or Birth Certificate with proof of National Insurance
