Summary
Assistant Point of Sale (POS) Manager
£30,000 to £33,000 plus great benefits (Work Level 6B)
Manchester City Centre. In this role you'll work in a hybrid way - splitting your time between home and the office at least 1 day a week (typically Wednesday), and store visits at least once a month (find out more about our hybrid working policy at colleagues.coop.co.uk/hybrid-working-policy)
We're looking for an Assistant Point of Sale (POS) Manager to join our instore marketing team. In this role you'll be responsible for the production and delivery of marketing collateral and our POS products. You'll be joining a fast-moving team working to three-week timelines to update our stores with the correct POS to help attract our customers and members to the newest offers instore.
What you'll do
- Liaise with print production and artwork agencies, making sure artwork is uploaded on time and print specifications are adhered to
- Produce the implementation guide that illustrates to stores how and where to display POS
- Use the key advertised lines to create a product and price brief illustrating the best offers in store to create POS products
- Respond to queries that come from our stores and resolve any issues
- Issue communications to stores, when necessary, about POS items
- Request quotes from the production companies we use to help us remain in budget
- Collaborate with internal teams including trade and planning and retail support centre
This role would suit people who have
- A keen attention to detail, making sure we get the right information out at the right time
- An understanding of print production processes and artwork
- Basic Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint skills
- Strong relationship building skills with both internal and external partners
- Excellent organisational skills to support working in a fast-paced environment
