Our client is a leading food manufacturer dedicated to providing top-notch stilton cheeses. They pride themselves on their commitment to producing the world's most delicious range of cheese. To enhance their team, we are seeking an experienced warehouse operative.
Job Overview:
As a warehouse operative, you will play a crucial role within the warehouse ensuring each customer order is carefully picked, wrapped & labelled, You will be responsible for, loading and unloading cheeses, and ensuring that all tasks are completed in compliance with food safety regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Load and unload trucks and containers efficiently and safely.
- Ensure that cheese are stored in the correct locations while following inventory management procedures.
- Conduct regular checks on equipment to maintain safety and operational food standards.
- Adhere to all food safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure timely completion of tasks and delivery schedules.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in a similar role.
- own transportation car
- Strong understanding of warehouse operations and food safety procedures.
- Ability to lift heavy loads and perform physical tasks as required.
- Excellent time management skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work well in a team environment.
