Summary
We are looking to for a Post Room Administrator to assist with the day-to-day activities within a busy despatch department.
Working within a small team and working to the ethos that the customer is at the heart of everything we do, your role will be to ensure all outgoing mail and parcels are done so professionally and in accordance with set operating procedures.
We are looking for an individual who is excited to thrive in a busy and face-paced environment!
Ideally, the right candidate will be extremely organised, confident, IT literate, have great attention to detail and always be willing to go the extra mile!
Duties will include:
• To receive, sort and distribute incoming mail to relevant departments
• To prepare letters and parcels for despatch
• To use our in-house bespoke system (BES) to import data from MS Excel into Royal Mail
• Using the Royal Mail database to export delivery notes
• To ensure that outgoing mail is collected from relevant department and prepared for dispatch before the cut off time each day
• To frank mail with the correct postage
• To ensure the post room is kept neat and tidy always adhering to the Health and Safety Policy's
