Summary
Hertfordshire Community NHS Trust is the principal provider of community-based healthcare services to the 1.2 million population of Hertfordshire and the Skin Health Service and provides Level 2 dermatology services across East and North Hertfordshire. Dermatology clinics and minor operations are delivered from health centres and GP surgeries across six localities which are a mixture of urban and rural communities which Skin Health service clinicians travel to in order to enable the delivery of care closer to patients homes. HCT interfaces predominantly with secondary care dermatology providers at Princess Alexandra Hospital NHS Trust to the East on the borders of Hertfordshire and West Essex and East & North Hertfordshire NHS Trust (ENHT) to the North of Hertfordshire.
