Summary
London Museum is in the middle of an exciting transformation, moving from London Wall to Smithfield.
The Conservation and Collections Care department are looking for a Paper Conservator to join our team working on all aspects of the move; conserving, stabilising, and packing objects as well as planning the new stores and exhibitions – helping to bring our objects to life for our visitors in the new Museum.
The role would suit a conservator looking to enhance their skills in paper conservation working with our collections, of art, social history, library and ephemera material.
Suitable candidates will have experience of conserving paper objects within a heritage institution and be able to confidently and independently solve conservation and collections care problems. Good team playing skills and abilities is also required because the role involves a lot of sharing of ideas with others.
