We're searching for part time Support Workers to join our team, supporting a remarkable lady in leading an independent, fulfilling life. This role is about more than just support; it's about companionship, encouragement, and creating meaningful experiences that make each day special.

About the role

In this position, you'll be working as part of a 2:1 staffing ratio, meaning you'll always have the support of a colleague by your side—no lone working required. Together, you and your colleague will provide the right balance of support and independence, giving her the confidence to thrive in her community. With your guidance, she'll access social clubs, go on shopping trips, and engage in activities that bring purpose and joy to her life.

Each day will offer new opportunities to help her be present in her community, pursue hobbies, and participate in enjoyable activities. You'll be helping her build skills while encouraging her sense of independence.

What makes this role unique is the chance to form a strong, supportive bond with both your colleagues and the lady you're supporting. This role isn't just a job; it's a partnership. Together, you'll be creating an environment that's safe, welcoming, and filled with positivity. Your approach to support should be warm, calm, and adaptable understanding that some days require patience and flexibility.

The ideal candidate for this role is someone with a natural sense of kindness and empathy. You'll be working closely with someone who relies on patience and encouragement, so these qualities are essential.

The best support workers are those who can laugh, engage, and share in the little moments that make life meaningful. Having a good sense of humor and an outgoing nature will go a long way here; the ability to bring joy into someone's day is as crucial as the practical support you'll provide.
