Band 7 Specialist Mental Health Clinician
Full time post split between Orchard House (Leamington) and Stratford Health Care (Stratford Upon Avon)
We have an exciting opportunity for a Band 7 experienced clinician to join our South Warwickshire Specialist Mental Health team working with the Specialist CAMHS service.
Substantial knowledge and understanding in Young people’s Mental Health is essential and additional CAMHS experience would be desirable. You will hold a caseload of young people with complex mental health needs and will take responsibility for providing evidence based assessments and therapeutic treatment for these individuals.
We as a service are looking for professional staff to have proven skills, knowledge, passion and expertise in working with Children and young People. If you have skills in Mental Health assessments and treatment, groups, CBT, DDP, EMDR, an interest in Neurodevelopment, Children in Care, Child and Family Holistic assessments and other vulnerable groups then this vacancy will apply to yourself.
Your time will be split between holding a clinical case load, and as a Band 7 there will be a leadership aspect to your role, offering supervision and supporting the Team Leader.
You will have a proven ability to liaise with and work in collaboration with other relevant agencies according to the needs of the young person. This exciting post is a real opportunity to demonstrate multi agency working holding the needs of the child and young people at the centre working across the Specialist Mental Health teams.
As a senior practitioner you will within your role have responsibility for providing both direct and non-direct work to support the work across Rise - Specialist Mental Health team.

Embedded in our model are pathways that are built upon Evidence practice and ensure a supportive supervision structure that allows for effective care delivery as well as the development of staff skills and knowledge.
The post would be suitable for professionals with mental health related training,such as nursing, occupational therapy, social work etc.
