Summary
Teaching Personnel are recruiting a Learning Support Assistant for partner schools based within the Essex area. The roles are temporary with the potential to go permanent for the right candidates.
The school focuses on inspiring their students by providing a nurturing environment in which they can develop and transform. They are looking for someone to be committed and enthusiastic in order to establish positive relationships with students and offer support to regulate their feelings.
You will be supporting Primary aged pupils with a wide range of social, emotional and mental health needs. A typical day will involve supporting pupils with their emotional well-being, enabling pupils to access academic work and helping to grow their self esteem and confidence. You must have strong behaviour management for this role.
Pupils at the school have a range of complex needs which include behaviours that can challenge, ADHD, autism and anxiety. Some pupils are looked after children, living in foster care and come from difficult backgrounds. Although experience is desired, we are more focused on finding the right personality for the roles.
