Summary
The post holder will: Manage the staff and resources within the Sterile Services Department providing an efficient and high quality decontamination service to all service users. Be enthusiastic and approachable manager and team-worker who recognises the need for staff personal development with an ability to design and undertake training in Sterile Services Oversee the provision of a 24hr, 7 days a week, specialised, service contributing to the safe clinical care of the patient Maintain the quality systems within Sterile Services- The ability to maintain the departments quality management system and accreditation is vital. Support the continued development and implementation of strategies for the effective provision of Sterile Services. Provide expert decontamination advice to clinical teams in the Clinical Support Division and in the wider Trust and act as a professional advisor to the Trust Decontamination Lead For more details please refer to the JD attached.
